18 May 1881 Left New Street Station this morning for Liverpool and embarked on board the Sarmatian for Quebec on the following morning, 19 May 1881. Mr Humphreys took them to the boat and saw him on board.

23 June 1881 Letter from Wall to say that he arrived at Quebec on the 29th May '81. He and Massey [boy 550] are working with Jefferies [boy 576] (see letter) [not attached to Admissions Register]. Works for Mr Smith(?), Drummondville, Ontario
