History of Warwick Pubs

Written by John Crossling (JohnCrossling@aol.com).

IMAGES This pub was originally the Hobson's Choice which was referred to in the last edition. It was
first recorded in 1961 when run by Edgar Newcombe. In 1976 Maurice Allen Newcombe had it and in 1978
the licensee was Guthrie Lindie Melville. The name changed to Images in February 1984. The pub was
originally a Phipps house but then it passed to Manns before becoming a Chef and Brewer and eventually
it was transferred to the Host Group. In 1991 the pub reverted back to its original name.
