The Examination of John Stean of Hillmorton backing his settlement taken upon oath this 10th day of July 1800 Who on oath said that he was born in Husbands Bosworth in the County of Leicester where his father was then legally settled. That he continued in his father’s family there until he was about twenty three years of age and his father taught him the art of a Tammy Weaver. That he had done no act to gain a settlement from the place of his birth to the best of his knowledge and belief. That he had a wife named Sence and two children Hannah about 3 years old and Ann about 10 months. John signed the document John Steans |
